This training prepares Malawian health care providers to deliver
youth-friendly, inclusive, and rights-based health services tailored to young
people. It builds a strong foundation in understanding Adolescent and Youth
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (AYSRHR) and adolescent development.
The module enhances providers’ capacity to deliver confidential, respectful,
and high-quality care, aligned with national, regional, and global policy
frameworks. It emphasizes serving diverse and vulnerable groups, including
marginalized adolescents. Furthermore, it empowers providers to address
systemic and community-level barriers through advocacy, community engagement,
and the Socio-Ecological Model. Additionally, the module addresses emerging
issues such as self-care, digital health, and ensuring continuity of services
in humanitarian and crisis settings, equipping providers to respond adaptively
to the evolving landscape of adolescent and youth health needs.
